Level strategy for Gungame!

 

Hello fellas!, how ya all pwning? getting better eeh?. As you all now playing gungame or just started and without a doubt enjoying it, I wanna take you to a journey where we'll do some deep-diving into the depths of weapon storage i.e. every weapon you use including the strategy for each level, which will help new & average players, some points might be useful for professionals too. So, what are you waiting for?, sit back, relax, grab your burger, burrito, coffee...whatever you got there and enjoy the ride, This one is gonna be a bumpy "Drive-through".

Level 1. The 9X19MM SIDEARM aka Glock

The starter for Gungamers, the default secondary weapon of Terrorists . Although it uses the same bullets as the MP5 smg but not much powerful. Consist of two firing mode i.e. semi-automatic & burst fire, not a hard to use you can effectively use it after some practice. Semi-automatic mode is much accurate when compared to 3 bullet burst fire but burst can be very helpful in an experienced hand.Almost limitless rate of fire but not much accurate at far distances, try to hold your crosshair above chest; in the burst fire there's more chances to achieve a headshot.
Remember unlimited rate of fire means you can empty 20 bullet clip in moments if you have a fast finger. In close range burst fire while jumping. 

If you're using it in semi-automatic mode then in close range combat spam fast as much as you can & in a mid range encounter keep it slow but with a fixed rate of fire, in long range keep it "ultra mild" you don't wanna disappear your bullets in air do ya?

Accuracy while running, strafing & firing is very good. Level up quickly, if more players of opposite team made it on second level earlier, you may find yourself in trouble.

Your first upgrade USP, the default secondary weapon of Counter-terrorists in normal game mode.
Now you'll feel a little more safe, with the optional silencer you can gain advantage of stealth on newbies till they find the source of the damage they're getting, they might find themselves at spawn point. But the element of surprise sometimes dilutes in front of experienced opponent, they find you in no time. So you have to use silencer depending on the position of your opponent and yours and of course the surrounding environment.Silencer also lowers the damage & accuracy so keep that in mind too.

Always keep a slow & steady rate of fire to gain more hits except you engage in a close combat where you have to spam of course but you can even make that situation simple too if you get success in landing a headshot it'll be a one bullet kill so suit yourself but, don't wait too long to get his head in your crosshair if you're a beginner, just spam if you can't make it fast, these things take time so you'll have to give some.Pretty much accurate while running & shooting fast but 12 bullets mean you have to be more accurate now.

With average accuracy it's more powerful then USP. Smoothly fast rate of fire but high recoil will tend you to use it decently. Although with much accuracy & damage it'll be very helpful in close encounters, you can take more headshots in a single rush after some practice, in mid range fight give a 1 second break after every 1-2 shots; target the neck area.

As with higher percentage of damage it can frag a guy in 1-2 headshots or 5-6 chest hits.

Now you're in more relaxing situation gaining the most powerful pistol in the game the Deagle. They said "It's truly a hand-cannon", well said. This gun can scare the hell out of your opponent in close combats, the .50 Action Express makes it able to deal massive amounts of damage but the only lacking side is the 7 bullet magazine so you have to be precise in close range if you're not in a position where you can duck or cover to reload. In the mid range fight keep a gap between every 2 shots & you'll be good to go, in far range you can snipe your opponent if you crouch & aim precisely for a headshot that'll be a moment of surprise because most players don't think of getting a headshot in earlier/pistol levels considering far range.
Even it has a high recoil, comparatively the accuracy is very good, when running and jumping it is less accurate than other pistols, but it can be very accurate at long distances.

Five-seven comes up with 20 bullet magazine, second pistol that can hold that much after glock. It has faster rate of fire & and low recoil i.e. low spread of crosshair.
Shooting style is very quiet, you can pwn opponents quickly if you have a fast finger on your mouse. Spam in close range, use double tapping in mid & far range.
Even it got less damage than Deagle you'll be fine cause of faster rate of fire and big clip. Not much accurate while running but that in my view just a matter of experience

They are the only dual wielded weapons to appear in the Counter-Strike series. These elites have a incredibly fast combined rate of fire. You can even gain a rate of fire of MP5 smg after a little practice But once you start shooting fast it'll be hard to manage your aim since the crosshair will go gradually higher after each shot so you have to look for it everytime. keep it like this "Firing two pistols with both of your hands is difficult in real life, especially when attempting to achieve the same accuracy in-game" so whatever you're getting is much better as with all other guns you'll learn how to handle it after you give some time to it. Use it as decently as a cowboy.For close range you can spam bullets for a headshot it's incredible rate of fire sometimes scares in close ranges. For mid range go for stomach, chest & neck area, attempts for headshots will mostly go in vain; keep the same idea for far range with slightly less rate of fire.

Now it's the shotgun time you got the pump shotty, The M3 shotgun with it's stylish pump-action deals huge damage in close quarters. Instead of a single bullet, shotguns fire an amount of pellets. you can gain quick kills of 2-3 opponents if used precisely on head & chest. It has a lower recoil & more damage capacity comparing to XM104 auto shotgun. You can use "fire while jumping technique" in close &  mid range fights depending on your experience but shotguns are not much powerful on far ranged targets, the idea is to wait for them to come closer or get closer to them via ducking, strafing or hiding, you can also use your teammates assault as a cover-fire but not for too long so make it quick. The cons. parts are the pump-action time gap after each shot that also hinders the player's view & low reliability at far ranges. You can't do much with the range problem but you can compensate the pump-action time delay with a little "Hide & Seek" gameplay i.e pick a pillar, wall, box or something then strafe & hide after each shot, reload, appear again fire shot & repeat until your victim die.

As you can see the fatal hit, you'll always blow the head off of your victim when you go for a headshot & two blows in the down area will be enough to send him at base.

The "auto - firing" levels start from here that means your finger is now free from the burden of tapping. The XM1014 with it's fast rate of fire is very effective in close encounters you can easily kill two or more of your opponents if you set-up a good ambush but likewise M3 it's not much effective in far ranges. This weapon has a high-recoil with spread so you have to maintain the shot counts & interval. Less accuracy while running. The advantage over M3 shotgun is the high rate of fire caused by the automatic characteristics but then it fades in dealing damage per shot comparing to M3.

Level 9. The SCHMIDT MACHINE PISTOL aka TMP

The TMP which is short for "Tactical Machine Pistol" is a quiet gun but has less damage, less accuracy; It'll definitely irritate new players but it's rate of fire is comparatively great, it can be very useful in close encounters while aiming for headshots. Sometime it unbelievably takes & misses it's target to get kill, from far range you must be very steady & try to give some burst of 4-5 bullets the undetachable silencer provides you a good piece of stealth advantage sometimes. Try to spam & strafe at the same time in mid range & close encounters. As I told it'll be a hard deal to beginners but in right hands it can surpass other SMGs cause of low recoil, fast reloading & of course the extreme rate of fire.

Level 10. The Ingram MAC-10

The MAC-10 to a certain extent a powerful SMG with high rate of fire but it's recoil is high & accuracy is bad as you can see the comparatively wide crosshair.
It'll be wise to aim around neck & chest area even in close encounters cause it looks decent & accurate while holding but once you hold the trigger things get start to go out of control. for mid range & semi far ranges try to crouch & give a burst of 2-3 bullets & you'll be out of trouble, you can also apply the "strafe & spam" technique for it,for far ranges it'll disappoint you! so try to be as much closer of your opponent as you can.Quiet accurate while running.

Level 11. The K&M Sub-Machine Gun  aka MP5 or MP5 Navy

Now you are on a much relaxing level the MP5 is quite accurate and has a good rate of fire but damage is low, after the P90 SMG it has the 2nd fastest rate of fire among the SMGs. It's an iconic weapon which is used in several games & movies too. Recoil is low, you can hold down trigger longer with a little positioning, not pretty accurate while running. You can easily gain kills in close & mid range fights, for far ranges it'll be much better if you crouch & aim.

Level 12. The UMP-45 or KM UMP45

UMP45 the most precise SMG used in CS but it fades in damage and rate of fire(the slowest among SMGs) area, although it's also the most accurate SMG for far ranges, see that tight crosshair it tells everything. You can easily aim for head in close range & even better in mid range fights, for far ranges crouch & aim, you can easily score headshots in far ranges too. It's an old-school classic piece of art, you'll feel it once you get your hands on this.

The P90 SMG with it's big clip capacity and low recoil gives you the opportunity to spam bullets but you see that crosshair?, ya again less accuracy, so for beginners it is advised to keep your aim between neck & stomach you can deal with head once you get it properly there's not much recoil issue. In close quarters it works great cause it holds the fastest rate of fire among all SMGs featured & and if you ambushed enemy troops on a perfect place, there's no way they'll survive. It's fair upto semi far ranges but beyond that you have to be precise and you're restrict to less damage, fairly accurate at running. After getting some control on this you can try "Strafe & Spam" technique on close encountered opponents.

Now we're on the most powerful weapon class i.e Rifles. With the largest clip capacity among the rifles Galil is a heavy weapon with high rate of fire but the damage & accuracy is low, For beginners recoil issue will be hard to manage but that's not certain for sure. with it's high rate of fire it'll do great damages in close encounters, the idea for starters is to aim at chest for the recoil will take it to the head most of the times. For mid range stand still and aim for head giving bursts of 2 shots, for far ranged enemy crouch and aim for stomach or chest, although it'll be a better choice if you let them come close. The bold, rough, bumpy style design suites to Terrorists well and that's why it's the second choice from rifle case to terrorists after AK.

Decent & quiet FAMAS (Fusil d'Assaut de la Manufacture d'Armes de Saint-Étienne or "Assault rifle from the Saint-Étienne weapon factory") comes up with a low clip capacity of 25 & good rate of fire so you have to watch your finger in close combats the accuracy is not much good in automatic mode but in burst-fire mode it surprisingly becomes deadly, almost no recoil in burst-fire mode so keep that in mind, so it is advised to always switch the firing mode to burst for above mid-range enemies and aim steadily for chest neck area, you can score a headshot from far every time you aim for and even if it doesn't, you'll get a kill from every 3 bullet burst fire as long all three bullets hits the above waist area of your enemy. FAMAS is designed in bullpup layout and is basically used by the French Special Operations and Counter-Terrorist organization, the GIGN. The counterpart of Galil i.e it's the secondary choice of Counter-terrorists from the rifle case after M4A1 carbine

The AK-47 (Avtomat Kalashnikova (Автомат Калашникова in Russian) Kalashnikov, AK, or in Russian slang, Kalash in real life was developed by "Mikhail Kalashnikov(Russian general, inventor, military engineer, writer and small arms designer)" is the most popular assault rifle in the world it is deadly in controlled bursts of fire, the first shot is almost as precise as an sniper rifle see that narrowed crosshair.The accuracy and damage is high but because of high recoil use it in 4-5 bullet burst in close combats & never try to rush cause the weapon has low accuracy while moving, for mid range use 3-4 bullet burst and in far range you can snipe your opponent by 2 bullets only & even by single bullet if aimed right to the head. The rifle got massive attraction because of it's characteristics i.e. low weight considering a deadly, precise rifle, be it in ice, sand, mud, water it works fine everytime just pull it out snap  it and fire, easy to assemble, disassemble & that's why it's the favorite weapon of choice between terrorists in-game and real life also; I guess that's why kalashnikov said "I'm proud of my invention, but I'm sad that it is used by terrorists". Gunfire-sound of AK, the word is "Die".

This sniper rifle is a bolt-action weapon, means it needs to be self-load after each shot which makes it a difficult, hard to master weapon and so it needs a huge amount of skill & experience. The weapon has low weight considering a sniper rifle and got extreme precision, It is advised to keep atleast mid-distance from your enemy so you can zoom through scope and snipe however if engaged an enemy in close range never zoom & take aim according to barrel cause you don't have crosshair while unzoomed (Practice that in offline game, add no bots i.e. computer generated players and keep try shooting on walls). Beside that always be with your teammates when holding it and try to hit the opponent which is busy engaging with your mates or shoot the enemies at far range. Try to be still or duck and take aim at head if the enemy is in much stationary position otherwise aim the chest-stomach area for it'll take only two bullets to kill them. To compensate with bolt-action time delay you can apply the "Hide n seek" technique I mentioned  previously for pump-action shotgun or change your position while having it to maintain your invulnerability. It's a quiet weapon so you can gain the stealth advantage on newbies and average players & even sometimes on professionals too. Unlike the magnum sniper rifle, firing via zoom only affect minor accuracy & surprisingly increases your movement speed when wielded.

Decent, precise, deadly; The M4A1 Carbine is the counter part of AK-47, that means it's the default primary weapon for Counter-Terrorists. With it's deadly precision it got the easiest recoil to control of, easy to gain skill for every situation. For close combats & mid-range fights it works pitch-perfect, you can spam with less tension of getting outgunned suddenly cause of accuracy, rate of fire & recoil issues. Beginners can try for headshots too. For far ranged enemy it's better to use burst fires while ducking or just simply standing still, you can score headshots in far ranged fights but it's not as precise as AK considering the distance. Although it's a quiet weapon upto an extent but can be fully silenced with the silencer it comes up with, it gives you stealth but if you are an average player don't use that for it will eat some damage and accuracy during each shot fired, all you need is just 3 kills and with that damage & precision it's not a big deal.

The SG 552 is moderate weight weapon, it's accurate got high rate of fire with medium damage and it's additional scope view gives an element of zoom upto an extent.
In close combats spam and try to gain some head-bounty, it's recoil will not create much disturbance; for mid range fights give some bursts of 4-6 fires aim for chest area. For mid-far to far ranged targets get your eye on the scope, zoom with that and take advantage of zoom-in plus precision, yeah zoom-in via scope decreases the rate of fire but increases the precision to deadly level, although the recoil gets higher in this position so try to give bursts of 3 shots, until you get a vast grip on it keep it in between chest to neck area and let the recoil do that for you otherwise aim at head and give burst of 2 shots.

The powerful aug is the counterpart of kreig with same scope ability but better accuracy & aim, even it beats M4 carbine in accuracy and heavy rate of fire makes it more versatile. The strategy is almost same as the kreig, good in close combats & mid range fights don't hold trigger too long  in mid ranges otherwise the recoil issues will start bugging you, for far range open up the scope and use bursts of 3 shots, recoil will be high though in zoom and that's why bursts are recommended. Cause of it's great accuracy and rate of fire it's arguably most used secondary rifle by CTs after M4 in normal game mode.

An sniper rifle which comes up with high rate of fire comparing the Scout & Magnum. Great damage but accuracy is poor considering a sniper, it get imbalanced after each shot. For close combats it'll be better if you avoid into falling one, but if you do, don't open up scope just spam bullets according to the barrel/nozzle position; unlike the scout you now have more chances to beat your foe. For mid to far ranges you can open scope zoom and kill the hostile party without any trouble, rate of fire is slow but since the accuracy will be much accustomed, try to crouch and increase your accuracy, headshots can be taken easily there will be no worry passing out this.

Now get your hands on the only machine-gun featured in the game "The M249", heavy eeh??, yup it is. with the huge clip capacity of 100 there will be no need to reload but if you do, you need some real practice bud. jump in a hostile party and unleash the hell out on'm, spam as much as you can but don't loose aim and try to strafe while spamming. Spam through boxes and wall edges if one is hiding. For close combats there's nothing much to tel you'll figure the power out, for mid range, try to be little mild on trigger and aim for chest area, for far range crouch and aim for same or a headshot if you can manage but with bursts of 4 or 5 bullets, little less in rate of fire but the power and accuracy will compensate it easily.

AWP (Arctic Warfare Police) the most powerful weapon/sniper in the game, "feel the power of magnum", one single bullet is enough for your opponent unless you hit body edges or legs. Avoid mid range fights but if you do encounter one try spam single bullet or if you' haven't gained much experience, switch to your knife and retreat for a better position. For mid to far ranged enemy open up the scope zoom, "Never ever double zoom in mid range fights for it will affect your peripheral vision", keep your aim between waist and head and try not to loose your aim to body edges, for far ranged enemy double or single zoom according to your experience and try to score a headshot or just simply make a hole through lower parts, you can even kill your two opponents with single bullet, yeah it's that much powerful but that depends on skill and no doubt on luck too. Although in normal game mode AWP comes up with a magazine capacity of 10 but there's a little twist in here, you get next bullet after 3 seconds of the first bullet fired and you got to reload that too,except you gain a kill and go on without any trouble so keep your shot crystal clear, and wait for a while until your target gets steady enough. The shot-sound exactly tells what it does, don't forget to crouch or stand still before you pull the trigger.

Level 24. The High Explosive (HE) grenade

The second last level of the game, get ready to drop some packages, Remember to always pull the pin out (via left-click) and run towards your destination cause you might not get a chance to pull that out, Try to keep up with your teammates and drop it in between the opponents they are engaging with, it increases the chances to get the required kill fast since the damage spreads around the area it explodes and you can't kill an enemy with a single explosion unless he's already got damaged through other sources. You can not pass this level via killing someone with knife, you must get a single kill with it but you can try knifing on someone if you get in a close encounter according to your skill or opponent's health otherwise retreat and wait till you manage yourself in a better position. Although your teammates won't get hurt by it's explosion but you can hurt yourself, so keep that in mind and keep the distance from the place you're dropping it to avoid a suicide and of course a level penalty. In normal game mode you can not carry more then one of grenade, so in here but it''ll generate automatically in 3 seconds after each grenade thrown until you blow someone with it. Sometimes it'll be impossible to toss it directly towards your foes, in that case keep a little sense of physics in mind and target the nearby walls or objects the way it get deflect and reach to your target location surprisingly. ANGLE THAT!

Level 25. The Knife

The Last station of your journey, The basic melee, evergreen, all-time hit, the cream, your utterly-bitterly delicious level gainer, blah-blah-blah fellow Knife is the only thing you're holding now, you only need a single kill from it to beat the game, there can be hundreds of possibilities to do it, all depends on the surroundings, location of both your opponents & teammates including you and of course the map design. Try to pick a hiding spot from where you can rise surprisingly or without even your prey knowing about it, always use right-click i.e. "Stab", it''ll take only two to slice & dice your opponent, unlike the left-click i.e. "Slash" which takes time and deals less damage. If you can manage to get behind your enemy that'll be another good thing cause then he'll have no awareness of you and a single backstab will finish him off. The idea is to learn your opponent party's movements, gameplay and map awareness, learn the way they're coming, engaging, retreating then pick a place to hide & wait. If you find yourself in a situation that a single opponent is trying to knife you (we call it "Knife 1o1"), try to tempt him managing a fair distance (Far enough only that you can not be in his melee radius) so that he do the first move (newbies always do), then take advantage of this false move and do the first stab, after that you can engage with him having no tension cause even if he do a hit on you, you only need one. On the other side keep that in mind that your current HP should be above 55 otherwise don't jump in like Rambo and loose level.

If you done it well at the 25th level, you're the winner, raise your hands in the air(don't disassemble yourself) say "Hurrah, I beat'em all", now say "Hakunamatata", keep yourself calm, don't let it go to your head, wipe-off the blood from your knife and get ready for the next battle, you might get a worthy opponent next time.


At last I'd say that I'm closing the topic but it's not the end of strategies, infact it never ends, it changes from map to map, player to player, opponent to opponent, situation to situation, experience to experience......!. I'm definitely lacking some Pro tips, as I told I made this by keeping beginners and average players in mind but believe me if you're going well with all I told, you'll be on the other side of the river and afterall there is something that you must figure out yourself.
